Residential Nurse - CWC
The Residential Nurse works collaboratively with the medical provider and the rest of the residential treatment team to provide holistic care. This will include providing alcohol and drug focused nursing assessments, oversight of medication and self-administration, coordination of care for ongoing treatment, and facilitating biopsychosocial groups.
Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift
Pay Range begins at $40.00
Qualifications
Registered Nurse in the State of CT. Previous experience with recovering persons and behavioral health is preferred. Previous experience with an electronic health record preferred. Must have organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in screening of referrals and complete alcohol and drug focused assessments as part of admission process.
- Coordinate care for all health needs.
- Facilitation of biopsychosocial-educational groups in the program focused on health.
- Maintain appropriate clinical records and reports according to established timelines.
- Assist in the development of recovery plans and connect to needed resources.
