Shift Supervisor - Dempsey

The Shift Supervisor will have the primary responsibility of supporting clients in their residential treatment in a therapeutic capacity. This position also includes overseeing the implementation and direction of the program, including coaching and supporting of Recovery Support Professionals and Certified Peers.  

Full Time / Exempt

Salary Range is $60,000 - $65,000

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 2 years’ experience in a residential SUD program, alcohol/drug certification preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Previous experience with an electronic health record preferred. Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Must have organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. 

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. 

Valid Driver’s license required with the ability to transport others using company vehicles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for running reports to ensure all documentation is completed and the program is providing the required clinical treatment hours per week.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical records and reports according to established timelines.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled staff/team meetings regarding client treatment and meet weekly with the Clinical Program Director.
  • Provide shift supervision to Recovery Support Professional, Recovery Support Staff, Certified Peers, and Chef.
  • Certify that food, supplies, and materials are purchased in a timely and economical manner.
  • Ensure the requirements for clients’ medical insurance, food stamp eligibility, and other entitlement programs are met.
  • Prepare and submit reports in accordance with contract, grant, and funding requirements.
  • Assist with daily operations, staffing schedule, scheduling concerns, group schedule, and transportation needs.
  • Collects urine samples for drug testing as necessary.
  • Provide transportation to clients for appointments as needed.
  • Provide services in other residential programs as necessary.
  • Monitor program safety inspections, First Aid supplies, Narcan supplies, and AED equipment.
  • Complete staff schedule.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by the Clinical Program Director.
